“How do you do it all?”
A frequently asked question that often perplexes me because the thought of doing it all immediately makes me breakout into a sweat. But what I am guilty of is intentionally crafting a life that reflects who I am at my core.
Like many of you, I did all the things they told me I should do to live a fulfilling life. Get an education, get a career that will make ya mama proud, climb the ladder, find a husband, have some chirren, raise them in a nice home and get them a good education so they can repeat the same thing.
We all know the real version of that story lives in between the lines. And that version captures the rat race, the burnout, the social comparison, the unattainable standards for working women and the overwhelm that never seems to end.
So my question was, where in that story do I get to show up for myself? When do I get to slow down to catch my breath and how to move forward better than before?
The answer - right now.
I’ve done the work. I’ve pressed pause on life to seek the solutions and I’m sharing all of them with you.
